I participated in the Annecy International Animation Festival. This year, when Japan was selected as "tribute country" for the first time in 20 years, there were some special programs set up, two of which included my film. "Pachelbel's Canon" was screened in a program called "A Board Overview of Japanese Contemporary Animation". "Rock 'n Roll March".was screened in a program called "NEW MOTION" Also, at Masterclass, where young Japanese Filmmakers were on stage, I discussed with Mr. Kiyotaka Oshiyama, Ms.Salina Nihei and Mr. Ryo Orikasa about the circumstances of production in Japan and the influence of past animation works.
アヌシー国際アニメーションフェスティバルに参加しました。 20年ぶりに「名誉国」として日本が選ばれた今年は特別プログラムが複数組まれ、その中の２つのプログラムで２作品の上映がありました。 「A Board Overview of Japanese Contemporary Animation」で 「パッヘルベルのカノン」が、「NEW MOTION」で「ロックンロールマーチ」がそれぞれ上映されました。また日本の若手制作者が登壇するMasterclassでは押山清高、ニヘイサリナ、折笠良の各氏と日本での制作事情、受けた影響などについて話しました。
